My name is Colby Dows. I am a senior at VCSU majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife science. I grew up on a small family farm in Page, North Dakota. I have loved the outdoors my whole life stemming from my early childhood. When I was growing up my family spent almost every weekend possible at the lake, cementing my love of fishing. Since attending college, I have spent two summers working for North Dakota Game and Fish as a wildlife technician. I spent one year as an ANS boat inspector. The Texas trip has always interested me after I heard about it my freshman year. I have been to Texas one time when I was younger for the first NDSU national championship game in Frisco Texas. The trip was so short that I never got to experience the outdoors and environment in Texas. I am looking forward to seeing the beautiful scenic riverways, and the diverse fish species that we do not have up in North Dakota.
